Math, Science Teachers Win Presidential Awards

Two South Carolina school teachers are winners of the prestigious Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching announced on Thursday by President Barack Obama. But in the case of Neil Jordan’s Restaurant they seem to complement one another perfectly. The upscale steak and seafood eatery opened in late 2008 just north of Hwy 41 in the Market at Oakland off 17 North and has become a regular dining spot for many East Cooper residents.
